Dr. Joy Dev Mukherji, a Senior Director in the field of Neurology, possesses a rich educational background and extensive experience in his specialty. He obtained his MBBS degree from Sambalpur University in 1983, followed by an MD in General Medicine from Bangalore University in 1990. Further pursuing his passion, he completed his DM in Neurology from the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh in 1995. With over 37 years of expertise, Dr. Joy Dev Mukherji joined Max Healthcare in 2006 as a Senior Neurologist after serving 23 years in the Armed Forces Medical Services. Prior to joining Max Healthcare, he held a senior teaching faculty position at Army Research and Referral Hospital in Delhi. He has been actively involved in conducting research projects under the Armed Forces Medical Research Committee (AFMRC) and has delivered insightful talks both within the country and abroad. Dr. Joy Dev Mukherji has been recognized and honored for his exceptional contributions. He has received prestigious awards such as the Chief of Army Staff's Commendation Medal in 2004 and the GOC in C (Western Command) Commendation Medal on two occasions. His research paper titled "Stroke in the Young" earned him the Best Scientific Paper award in the neurology section at APICON.
