With 14 years of devoted expertise, Dr. Amish Chaudhary is a highly skilled surgical oncologist. At the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC), in New Delhi, he is credited with significantly pioneering limited access and advanced laparoscopic programs in oncology. Over 1500 surgical and gynecological oncological treatments were performed by Dr. Chaudhary during his tenure at the Max Institute of Cancer Care in New Delhi. Advanced robotic, laparoscopic, cytoreductive, and HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy) operations are among his main specialties. With over 700 breast procedures under his belt—300 of which were Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsies (SLNB)—300 oncoplastic breast surgeries, and more than 150 colorectal surgeries—Dr. Chaudhary has an outstanding track record. In addition, he led the way in the creation of cutting-edge robotic and laparoscopic programs in surgical and gynecologic oncology. India has acknowledged and accepted his novel "Retroperitoneal Tent Technique" for laparoscopic para aortic lymph node dissection. He also started the HIPEC program in Delhi, where he has successfully completed more than 50 surgeries since 2015 for surface malignancies such as ovarian cancer and pseudomyxoma peritonei. During his tenure at RGCIRC in New Delhi, Dr. Chaudhary made significant contributions by helping with and performing about 450 procedures for breast cancer, 250 esophagectomies, and oncoplastic. He developed the Sentinel Lymph Node program for breast cancer, which is today considered best practice in prestigious hospitals. Dr. Chaudhary has seven publications and research materials to his credit for his services to academia and medicine. In May 2018, he attained the status of Independent Guide, having been accredited as a Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) in Surgical Oncology since 2014. Additionally, since 2004, he has taken part in a number of organizing committees for conferences and congresses in medicine. Additionally, Dr. Chaudhary has a strong sense of social responsibility by working with poor women and children in educational and vocational programs.
