With the experience of 39 years, Dr. (Col) V P Singh holds a senior position at the prestigious Apollo Cancer Institute, which is renowned for its comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to cancer care. Following his post-graduation from KGMC in Lucknow, he dedicated 18 years of his career as a Consultant in Surgical Oncology at prominent teaching hospitals within the Armed Forces, specializing in the treatment of malignant diseases. Dr. Singh has undergone additional training at renowned institutions such as The Tata Memorial Hospitals in Mumbai and the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, further enriching his knowledge and expertise. He has also been honored with an International Union Against Cancer (UICC) fellowship at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. Since joining the Apollo Cancer Institute in 2004, Dr. Singh has effectively applied his expertise in performing major surgical resections for head and neck cancers, gastrointestinal and lung cancers, as well as organ preservation surgeries for breast, larynx, and limbs.
