With more than 36 years of experience, Dr. Rajendra Prasad is an exceptional spine surgeon. More than 3100 major procedures on the brain, spine, and more than 300 spinal instrumentations have been carried out by him. He played a key role in the implementation of cervical and lumbar radiofrequency rhizotomies at his present institution and has successfully completed more than a hundred of these operations in a period of roughly three years. Dr. Rajendra Prasad has had the chance to examine a lot of back pain patients recently, and he has used Radio Frequency (RF) Rhizotomy to treat over 250 patients with low back and neck discomfort. One of the biggest series a spine surgeon has ever conducted in the nation. This work has also been presented at the American Congress of Neurological Sciences meeting in the USA.

  • Winner of BMJ Awards, South Asia 2017 on behalf of Indian Head Injury Foundation in the category of “Non-Communicable Disease Initiative of the Year” for our work involving road safety programme for children’s and distribution of 12,000 children’s helmets under our Children’s “Ride with Safety” Programme.
  • Life Time Achievement award for distinguished services in the field of Neurosciences from Delhi Neurological Association (DNA) on 2nd & 3rd February 2019 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, 15-Janpath, New Delhi.
  • First in Asia to perform Da Vinci Robotic Spine Surgery.
