Dr. Rajiv Parakh completed his undergraduate medical education at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, obtaining his MBBS degree in 1981. Subsequently, he pursued further specialization in the field of surgery and earned his MS degree in General Surgery from the same institution in 1986. Dr. Parakh's commitment to professional growth led him to achieve FRCS accreditation from The Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) in the United Kingdom in 1987. Dr. Rajiv Parakh holds various memberships and positions of importance in the field of Vascular Surgery. In addition to serving as the International Society for Vascular Surgery (ISVS) in the USA's Secretary in 2007, he was elected as the organization's Vice President in 2010. He is a proud founder and life member of the Vascular Society of India (VSI) since 1997 and also a founder and executive committee member of the Endovascular Intervention Society of India (EISI). In addition, he is a member of the European Society of Vascular Surgery (ESVS). Dr. Rajiv Parakh serves as the National Convener for the Fellowship program in Vascular Surgery of the National Board of Examiners in New Delhi, which has now been upgraded to a Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular Surgery Diploma. Dr. Rajiv Parakh offers a range of services in his practice, including Endovascular Interventions, Endovascular Repair of Aneurysm, Carotid Surgery, Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, and Vascular Trauma. He completed his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in the United Kingdom in 1986 and received specialized training in Vascular Surgery before returning to India. He played a pivotal role in establishing one of the first independent Departments of Vascular Surgery in India in 1990.
