After that, he underwent a year of training with neurosurgeons and ortho-spine surgeons at the University of Calgary in Canada to hone his abilities in minimally invasive spine surgery, adult deformity correction, and revision spine surgery. He received considerable training in minimally invasive spine surgery and the use of minor incisions to address the majority of spinal disorders while in Canada. Then he travelled to Sydney, Australia for six months to undergo specialised training in paediatric spine surgery at the children’s hospital at Westmead (children with abnormalities like scoliosis and kyphosis). He founded the Centre for Spine in West Delhi after he returned to India, a facility devoted to the treatment of spine conditions.
