Tapan Ghose is well known Interventional Cardiologist, he is currently working as a Director at Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj. Dr. Tapan Ghose earned his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Silchar Medical College. He received the Dr. Anjan Chakravorty Memorial Medal in Medicine in 1988 for receiving the highest grades in Medicine. Dr. Ghose received his MD (Medicine) in 1993 after completing postgraduate study in internal medicine at Assam Medical College in Dibrugarh. In 1993, he was also given DNB (Medicine) by the National Board of Examinations. After successful study at Batra Hospital Medical Research Centre in New Delhi, he was given DNB (Cardiology) by the National Board of Examination in 2001. He has extensive experience in coronary intervention, cardiac electrophysiology, and device installation.Dr. Ghose is an active participant in the Medical Research post-graduate teaching programme. He has taken part in a number of national and worldwide trials registries.
