Dr. Vikas Panwar, the Unit Head and Director of the Department of General Surgery and Robotics, is an accomplished surgeon with a wealth of experience and expertise. He has received extensive education and training in various prestigious institutions around the world. Dr. Panwar underwent specialized Robotic Surgery Training at Intuitive Surgicals in Atlanta, USA, in June 2016. He obtained the MRCS (Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons) from Edinburgh, UK, and became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), USA. Dr. Panwar held the position of Senior Resident in General Surgery and casualty at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, New Delhi, and Lady Hardinge Medical College & Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital, New Delhi. Dr. Panwar is keenly interested in Bariatric and Colorectal Surgery, Minimal Access Surgery, and Gastrointestinal Surgery.
