Prof. (Dr.) J M Hans graduated with a Gold Medal in MS ENT from the esteemed PGI Chandigarh. More than 3300 cochlear implants have been successfully operated on since he pioneered the minimal invasive technique for Cochlear implant surgery in India.He is the first ENT surgeon in India to have started the auditory brainstem implant in children. With over 40 years of experience, his mentoring has benefited numerous ENT surgeons from India and the SAARC nations. At the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in New Delhi, he was a professor and the head of the ENT division.
