Dr. A.K. Singh is the Chairman and Head of MIND (Max Institute of Neurosciences) at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dehradun. With over 30 years of experience, he is a prominent figure in the fields of Neurosciences, Neurosurgery, and Spine Surgery. Dr. Singh completed his MBBS degree from KG's Medical College, Lucknow, followed by MS in General Surgery and MS in Neuro Surgery from the same institution. He further pursued a diploma from WFNS Hannover, Germany, and received a UGC-DAAD Fellowship to visit Tubingen University & Nordstadt Hospital, Germany. He has progressed from being a Lecturer to becoming the Director & Head of the Neurosurgery Department at G.B.P.H. Additionally, he serves as an Examiner for M.Ch Neurosurgery at various prestigious institutions such as Delhi, SGPGI, Lucknow, PGIMER, Chandigarh, and NBE. Dr. Singh also holds the position of Additional Professor in the Neurosurgery Department at SGPGI, Lucknow. Throughout his career, Dr. Singh has been honored with several awards and recognition, including the Doctor's State Award in Delhi, the Aradhak Shri Award from Malviya Sahitya Shradhanjali Samaroh Samiti, and the B.C. Roy Award for Academic Excellence. His areas of interest lie in Spinal Surgery, particularly in the treatment of high cervical and craniovertebral junction anomalies. Dr. Singh is highly proficient in performing endoscopic skull base procedures and is renowned as a pioneer in transsphenoidal surgery. Dr. Singh's contributions to the medical field are extensive, with over 500 publications to his credit and more than 1500 presentations made at national and international conferences. His expertise and dedication have made him a respected figure in the field of Neurosciences.
