Dr. Arvinder Singh Soin, a leading expert in the field of liver transplantation, is the Chairman of one of the world’s most successful liver transplant programs at Medanta. Dr Arvinder Singh Soin, who has performed over 2500 liver transplants over the course of his career and is well known for having a 95 percent success rate, was given the Padma Shri award by the President of India for his achievements in medicine. Dr. Soin has conducted over 12000 more complex liver, gallbladder, and bile duct surgeries throughout the course of his over 37 year career. He was also a pioneer in the development of liver transplantation in India.The majority of the national liver teams are all trained by Dr. Soin. In India, he has had a significant medical impact on several areas of public health, most notably organ donation. He has also been a prominent voice in healthcare on social media during COVID-19.
