With 40+ years of experience, Dr Bijoy Nayak is one of the BEST GYNECOLOGISTS AND ROBOTIC SURGEONS in the country. He initiated the legacy of gynecological laparoscopic surgery in the decade of 1990 in Odisha and has now emerged as one of the MOST TRUSTED AND FINEST GYNECOLOGISTS AND OBSTETRIC AND ROBOTIC SURGERY CONSULTANTS of India. With his continued and unmatched passion and zeal for the medical services, he was honored as the ‘Founder President’ of the Bhubaneswar Chapter of FOSGI (Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecological Society of India), which he served for the period of 2009 – 2011 and he still remains an executive member of the society till date. He became famous for his excellent display of medical acumen in obstetrics, ROBOTIC SURGERIES and gynecology in 2013 when he performed over 75000 tubal ligations across 100+ laparoscopic camps in Odisha. His efforts were well recognized and on 13th July, 2013 he was felicitated and awarded by then Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik for his extension research on the degrees of adhesion. In recent times, he has been traveling across India to multiple cities where he has delivered numerous lectures and workshops to help beginners in the field of ROBOTIC SURGERIES and advancements in laparoscopic gynecology. His unmatched success in medical services have roots from Cuttack where he completed his MBBS and MD degrees from Sriram Chandra Bhanj Medical College and later specialized in surgeries from Clinica Mangiagalli, Milan, Italy. He is also a representative faculty in Italy, Australia and other countries after he undertook life membership in International Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (IGSE) and Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists (IAGE). He is a well-known gynecologist and ROBOTIC SURGEON in the country and is currently Head and Consultant – Minimal Access & ROBOTIC GYNECOLOGICAL SURGERIES in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Manipal Hospitals, New Delhi. He has also served in Fortis and other big hospitals of the country and continues to provide his support and guidance to several of them today.
