An ophthalmologist with more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Carreen Pakrasi is well-known in her field. She has experience performing glaucoma surgery, cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and UVEA treatments. As well as treating these conditions, she also treats retinoblastoma, squint, corneal opacity, color blindness, night blindness, and fungus infections of the eyelids. Dr. Pakrasi is a member of the Medical Council of India (MCI). She pursued an MD in ophthalmology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi in 1991 after earning her MBBS from Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati Medical College in Berhampur, Orissa, in 1986. The Institute of Health and Family Welfare in West Bengal awarded her a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital Management in 2009. Dr. Carreen Pakrasi has more than three decades of extensive professional experience and is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, UVEA, and refractive surgery. She oversaw Pakrasi Eye Associates as its director from 1996 to 2013. She has since worked at Medanta as a director.
