Dr. Hemlata Gupta

Dr. Hemlata Gupta has been a senior consultant at the Center for Sight since 2008. She is a skilled surgeon in various cataract surgeries, including femto-cataract and micro-incision cataract surgery, as well as refractive surgeries such as Robotic Contoura vision, SMILE, iLasik, CV LASIK, Advanced Topography, and Topography Customized LASIK, PRK, ICL, intra-corneal ring segments, and corneal cross-linking for keratoconus treatment. Over the past 12 years, she has performed over 5000 refractive surgeries and has extensive experience managing complicated cataracts and refractive surgeries. In addition to authoring more than 40 articles and book chapters for regional, national, and international scientific journals and postgraduate books, Dr. Gupta has delivered more than 170 scientific presentations at conferences around the world. She has co-edited the Chief Edited CFS Newsletter "Spectrum," the Delhi Journal of Ophthalmology, and the North Zone J of Ophthalmology. She belongs to a number of ophthalmological organisations, including the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the All India Ophthalmological Society, the Delhi Ophthalmological Society, the North Zone Ophthalmological Society, and Chandigarh Ophthalmological Society (ESCRS). Over the past four years, Dr. Hemlata Gupta has offered LASIK/SMILE training courses for national and international ophthalmologists, and more than 20 ophthalmologists have benefited from them. She is a fellowship trainer for cataract and refractive surgery as well as a DNB examiner who has been asked to serve.
