Nationally acclaimed cardiologist Dr. Praveer Agarwal, Director Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi, has made significant contributions to the expansion, improvement, and teaching of Interventional Cardiology in India. He is one of the most adaptable interventional cardiologists in India, offering round-the-clock treatments such as prompt therapy of acute heart attack patients at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute by using various thrombectomy devices. In 35 years of his career, Dr. Agarwal has held prestigious faculty positions at numerous national and international seminars and conferences. In numerous national and international journals, he has written about 100 articles, reviews, and abstracts. Every year, Dr. Agarwal and his staff execute 1100 interventions and 1900 angiographies, respectively (about 1000 coronary angioplasties).
