Dr. Saket Goel

With a career spanning over 31 years, Dr. Saket Goel is a highly skilled general and laparoscopic & robotic surgeon. Max Super Speciality Hospital, Moolchand, and PSRI Hospital are just a few of the prestigious South Delhi hospitals where he has worked. He has served as a consultant in the General, Gastrointestinal, Minimal Access, Bariatric & Robotic Surgery Department at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital since 2004. From straightforward to complex gastrointestinal surgeries, including gastro oncology, Dr. Goel has a wealth of experience in surgery. He has also carried out a significant portion of his surgical load through numerous minimal access procedures. These include robotic surgery, diagnostic laparoscopy, laparoscopic lymph node biopsy, HALS surgery for colorectal cancer, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic hernia repair, laparoscopic appendicectomy, bariatric surgery, laparoscopic liver hydatid cyst, laparoscopic bowel surgery, and laparoscopic gastric surgery. Dr. Goel participates in the DNB candidates' theses and actively teaches DNB General Surgery and Surgical Gastroenterology. Additionally, he organizes continuing medical education (CME) programmes for hospital staff on subjects like minimizing surgical access, colorectal cancer, and ulcerative colitis. Dr. Goel regularly attends conferences, surgical workshops, and CMEs to stay current. He also completed a one-month clinical observation in 2005 at the University of Heidelberg in Germany under the supervision of leading authorities in pancreatic surgery.
