Dr. Vedant Kabra holds the prestigious position of Head of the Department of Surgical Oncology at Manipal Hospitals in Delhi. With a wealth of 25+ years of experience encompassing over 12,000 cancer surgeries, he is a seasoned expert in the field. Dr. Kabra has a remarkable track record of successfully performing various complex oncological procedures, including cutting-edge robotic surgeries. Dr. Kabra's professional interests are diverse, spanning Breast, Gastrointestinal, Gynecologic Oncology, and Robotic Surgery. He has pursued specialized training in Robotic Surgery at Intuitive Surgical in Sunnyvale, US, and has also completed a Tissue Bio-Banking Course at the Jules Bordet Institute in Brussels. Additionally, he has honed his skills in GI and hepatobiliary Surgery through training at the National Cancer Centre in Singapore, and he holds a Fellowship in Breast Surgery from Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. Dr. Kabra has been pivotal in establishing the Department of Surgical Oncology at FMRI, Gurgaon, and Max Healthcare. His expertise has led to numerous invitations as a faculty member at international and national conferences. His contributions to the field are underscored by his several published papers in peer-reviewed journals and his authorship of four book chapters. Dr. Kabra has received various awards in recognition of his academic excellence. Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Kabra is deeply passionate about cancer awareness and tobacco control. He has made significant contributions to the nationwide Voice of Tobacco Victims (VoTV) movement, which played a crucial role in advocating for the ban on gutka and the introduction of pictorial warnings on cigarette packs. Dr. Vedant Kabra is the Principal Director of Surgical Oncology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurugram. His extensive training and commitment to cancer awareness make him a respected figure in surgical oncology. He actively engages in health talks, awareness campaigns, and self-examination camps to further the cause of cancer awareness. Additionally, he is at the forefront of the tobacco cessation movement, particularly in Gurugram and Haryana.

● Received the Best Research Paper Award during the Annual Conference of the Association of Surgeons of India held in Ahmedabad in December 1998.
● Secured the Second Best Poster Award at the Annual Conference of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, which took place in Lucknow in September 2003.
