Dr. Vijay K. Dixit has over 18 years of extensive experience in the field of interventional neuroradiology. A special career influence developed during his training as a senior resident in Neuroradiology at AIIMS between 1993 and 1995, which led to his decision to join the expanding subspecialty of Neuroradiology in 1995, after earning his MBBS and M.D. in Radiology from J.N. medical college, AMU, Aligarh. Afterwards, he became particularly interested in Interventional Neuroradiology and went on to complete clinical attachments in Oxford and Newcastle in England between 1999 and 2001. Dr Dixit has carried out more than 10,000 spinal and cerebral angiograms, as well as roughly 2000 neurointerventions, including 1,400 coilings of aneurysms.
