He further enhanced his expertise through various diploma courses and training programs in operative pelviscopy, operative laparoscopy, reproductive medicine, and in vitro fertilization (IVF) from renowned institutions in Germany, France, and India. As a highly regarded specialist, Dr. Marwah has held significant positions throughout his career. He has served as the Head and Senior Consultant for the Unit of Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery at a renowned hospital in New Delhi from 1999 to 2009. Since 2010, he has been leading the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynaecology at the prestigious hospital in Saket, New Delhi. In addition, he has been actively involved as a faculty member in reputed institutes such as the Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education (EISE) in New Delhi and CEMAST in Mumbai. Dr. Marwah's contributions to the field have been recognized globally. He set a Guinness World Record in 2009 by successfully performing a laparoscopic removal of a 3.9 kg uterus. He was honored with the prestigious "Kurt Semm Award for Excellence in Pelviscopy" by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, becoming the first Indian to receive this esteemed award. Dr. Marwah is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the International Society of Gynecologic Endoscopists, the Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists, and the Indian Medical Association, among others. His areas of interest and expertise include laparoscopic management of severe endometriosis and rectovaginal endometriosis, fertility-enhancing laparoscopic surgery, and laparoscopic management of early-stage malignancies of the cervix, uterus, and ovary. He adopts the concept of Minimal Energy in Minimally Invasive Gynaecology to ensure safer and more effective procedures for his patients. Dr. Marwah has made significant contributions to medical literature through his published manuscripts and chapters in various books on gynecological endoscopy, infertility, and related subjects.
