Dr. Deepak Sarin is the Director Head & Neck Oncology, Cancer Institute Medanta Gurugram. Dr. Deepak Sarin has more than 27 years of experience and performed over 15000 surgeries till date. Dr Sarinis a specialist in head & neck oncology surgery, reconstructive surgery, and skull base surgery. At the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Miami, United States, he received training as a clinical fellow in Head & Neck Ablative and Reconstructive surgery. He played a key role in the establishment of the Head & Neck Cancer Department at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in 2005. Further, he has helped establish the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Artemis Health Institute in 2007 as well as the Department of Head & Neck Surgery at Medanta in 2011. Dr. Sarin has received several invitations to lecture on both national and international platforms about the treatment of diseases in his specialty. On the function of laminin-10 in squamous cell cancer, he has performed research and given presentations. He has given Grand Rounds presentations on the use of PET scans in head and neck cancer and on the histopathological markers of aggressiveness in these diseases in the US.
