Dr. Hemant Sharma is a qualified Fellow by the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has over 22 years of orthopaedic expertise (10 years in India and 12 years in UK). Dr. Sharma graduated from the PGIMS Rohtak in 1994, and since then, Dr. Hemant has completed a number of fellowships in the UK as part of his specialised training in orthopaedics and trauma. Regular participation in national and international meetings as a delegate or faculty member furthers this education. He is considered as best robotic joint replacement doctor in GUrugram and has carried out maximum number of robotic surgeries. Dr. Hemant specialises in post-polio and cerebral palsy musculoskeletal issues, adult reconstructive orthopaedics, joint replacements, and tumours. Dr. Hemant performs several joint-saving surgeries on young patients with arthritis who have undergone single or multiple ligament reconstructions during redo trauma situations and sports accidents. Dr. Hemant also performs surgery on teenagers who have hip dysplasia, a condition in which the hip does not fit snugly into the socket, or SCFE, in which the growth plate falls off the end of the thighbone. Also, Dr. Hemant has a lot of experience treating sickle cell disease patients who have injured joints.
