Dr. Arun Garg

Dr. Arun Garg is a highly accomplished and experienced neurologist, currently serving as the Director of the Institute of Neurosciences. With a comprehensive experience of 32 years in the medical field, including 19 years as a specialist, Dr. Garg has made significant contributions to the field of neurology. He obtained his MBBS degree from Sawai Mansingh Medical College, Jaipur in 1986, followed by an MD in General Medicine from the same college in 1989. He further specialized in DM Neurology at Sawai Mansingh Medical College, Jaipur in 2002. Throughout his career, Dr. Garg has held prominent positions in renowned medical institutions. He served as a Senior Neurologist at Max Hospital and played a pivotal role in developing neurology services at Max Hospital, Patparganj. He also completed his neurology residency at Swai Man Singh Jaipur and served as the Director of Neurology at Medanta - The Medicity. Currently, he holds the position of Director of Neurology at CrediHealth Video. Dr. Garg's exceptional contributions to the field of neurology have been recognized with various awards and honors. He was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011, acknowledging his outstanding achievements and dedication to the field. Additionally, he is a member of esteemed organizations such as the Indian Academy of Neurology, Delhi Neurology Association, Indian Medical Association, Delhi Medical Council, and East Delhi Physician Association. Dr. Garg's areas of interest and expertise include STROKE, Intra-Arterial Thrombolysis, Laminectomy, Occupational Therapy, Brain Mapping, Foot Drop, Spinal Tap, and Cerebrospinal Fluid Shunt. He has a particular focus on stroke prevention, neuro-rehabilitation, and occupational therapy. Dr. Garg's passion for stroke has led him to collaborate with UMASS, MA, USA for stroke prevention, education, treatment, rehabilitation, and the latest research.
