Dr. Ishita B. Sen comes with the experience of more than 25 years of specialized training in the Medical Management of Thyroid Cancer at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer in NY, USA. She has further completed her training in the Thyroid Cancer Preceptorship Program at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), University of Marburg in Germany, and Myocardial SPECT imaging for Nuclear Medicine Physicians in Beijing, China. She has organized different seminars and workshops in Nuclear Medicine in national and international locations. She has actively served in the departments of Nuclear Medicine in leading hospitals like Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Artemis Hospital, and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. She has a special interest in nuclear oncology, PET-guided interventional processes, radionuclide therapy, and associated concepts. She is one of the leading Nuclear Medicine professionals who has authored different reviews, abstracts, and clinical communications in Imaging and Oncology. She has actively spoken on Nuclear Medicine at leading conferences. Dr. Sen is a DNB Teacher and Assessor in Nuclear Medicine and the National Board of Examinations India. She is a co-investigator in the IAEA Project on the Scintimammography role with the use of Newer Technetium Agents in the Detection of Breast Cancer. She is President of the Association of Nuclear Medicine Physicians of India.
