Dr. Sudhindran S is a clinical professor and chief transplant surgeon at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences. With the experience of more than 25 years, he is a leading expert in liver transplants and has completed over 820 such surgeries, mostly involving live donors. He also has experience in the pancreas and small bowel transplants. Dr. Sudhindran S graduated from Trivandrum Medical College and later trained in vascular surgery and solid organ transplantation in the UK. He has over 100 publications and was awarded the “Distinguished Alumnus Award” by Trivandrum Medical College in 2020 for his leadership and service to the college and society.
