Dr. Sameer Shrivastava is an esteemed medical professional serving as the Chief of Non-invasive Cardiology and Principal Director of Cardiology. With a career spanning 37 years, including 28 years as a specialist, he has gained extensive expertise in the field. After earning his MBBS from JIWAJI University in Gwalior in 1986 and his MD in General Medicine from Mangalore University in Karnataka, India, in 1991, Dr. Shrivastava completed his education. From Kanpur University, he later pursued his DM in Cardiology in 1995. Previously, Dr. Shrivastava was Executive Director and Head of Non-Invasive Cardiology at Escorts Heart Institute in New Delhi. His contributions and accomplishments in the field of cardiology have been acknowledged throughout his career. In 2003, the IMA New Delhi branch, in collaboration with the Heart Care Foundation of India and the IJCP Group, presented him with the "Clinical Cardiologist of the Year" award. In 2006, Dr. Yoganand Shastri, the former health minister of the NCT of Delhi, recognised him as one of the top ten physicians in the country. Dr. Shrivastava's areas of interest include Trans Esophageal Echocardiography, 3D Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography, Tissue Doppler Imaging, Vascular Doppler, and more. He is affiliated with prestigious medical societies such as the Indian Society of Cardiology, Cardiological Society of India, Indian Society of Hypertension, Indian Society of Vascular Diseases, and Indian Medical Association.
