Dr. Saurabh Chandr

Dr. Saurabh Chandra is an extensively trained orthopedic surgeon with over 14 years of experience. He is currently a consultant at Sanar International Hospital in Gurugram, specializing in bone and joint replacement and orthopedics. Dr. Chandra has performed around 6000 joint replacements and more than 3000 arthroscopic procedures using advanced and high-end orthopedic techniques. For the past 5 years, he has been performing computer-navigated hip and knee joint replacements using the Stryker NAV-3 computer navigation system. Dr. Chandra received his MBBS degree from Era's Lucknow Medical College and Hospital, and his MS in Orthopedics from the National Institute of Medical Sciences in Jaipur. His areas of expertise also include revision arthroplasty, hip and knee preservation procedures, and treatment of patients with sickle cell disease where joints are damaged. Dr. Chandra is skilled in managing orthopedic emergencies and cases of polytrauma, fracture management, soft tissue injuries, septic arthritis, and osteomyelitis. Dr. Chandra has worked in the arthroplasty and arthroscopy unit of a renowned hospital and has handled more than 100 joint replacement procedures of varying complexities every month. He has also been associated with several Delhi Government hospitals with a large amount of trauma case load. Dr. Chandra's specializations include computer-navigated joint replacement surgery, revision joint replacement surgery, joint preservation procedures, reconstructive tumor surgery, complex and neglected trauma, sports injury, multiligament reconstruction, deformity correction, and pediatric trauma.
