Dr. Shweta Singh is an accomplished medical professional specializing in Liver Transplant and Biliary Sciences. She obtained her MD from GSVM Medical College in Kanpur in 2003 and completed her MBBS from King George's Medical College in Lucknow in August 1998. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Shweta Singh has been associated with the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) since 2008, where she serves as an Additional Professor in Anaesthesiology and Critical Care. She underwent specialized training in Liver Transplant Anaesthesia and Critical Care at King's College Liver ITU and the Department of Anaesthesiology at King's College, London. Dr. Singh played a pivotal role in initiating the transplant program at ILBS and conducted the institution's first liver transplant. She also established the transplant anesthesia protocol and developed pre and post-transplant management protocols for both recipients and donors. Dr. Shweta Singh's contributions extend beyond the transplant program. She successfully established and operationalized anesthesia services in operating theaters, endoscopy suites, and interventional radiology services at ILBS.
