Dr. Arif Akhtar

Dr. Arif Akhtar is an experienced Uro-Surgeon with over 13 years of expertise in the field of kidney diseases and malignancies of the genitourinary tract. He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from JN. Medical College, AMU, Aligarh, and later pursued MCh Urology (Magister Chirugiae) from the prestigious PGIMER, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. Dr. Arif Akhtar has worked in several renowned healthcare institutions in India and performed over 10,000 surgeries related to cancer, kidney stones, prostate diseases, and female problems associated with urination. He has also successfully completed more than 400 kidney transplant surgeries with good outcomes and patient satisfaction. Dr. Arif has a keen interest in advanced laparoscopic and endo-urology, and has extensive exposure to the management of various renal, ureteral, bladder, urethral, penile, scrotal, retroperitoneal, and genito-reproductive pathologies, and urological trauma care. He is particularly interested in invasive surgeries for stones such as Mini PCNL, RIRS, and ECIRS, and advanced laparoscopic surgeries for benign and malignant conditions of the kidney, ureter, bladder, and prostate. Dr. Arif Akhtar has also gained recognition for his work and has been awarded the Best Doctor-2022 by Global Glorious Awards, which is approved by the Government of India and registered under NITI Aayog Govt. of India in association with Usha UR foundation. He has also been awarded the Best Emerging Urologist of India 2022 by Medilinks India, South Asia Pacific Healthcare Summit, and Business Awards. He has also written several national and international papers and books on the topics of reconstruction surgeries of both male and female genitourinary tract pathology. Dr. Arif has a keen interest in robotic-assisted urological surgeries and surgeries for male and female infertility.
