Dr. Rajneesh Kapoor is a highly accomplished and experienced professional serving as the Vice Chairman of Interventional Cardiology. With a total of 26 years of experience, including 19 years as a specialist, Dr. Kapoor has made significant contributions in the field of cardiology. Dr. Kapoor obtained his DNB certification from Escorts Heart Institute in 2002. Prior to that, he completed his MD in Internal Medicine at Govt. Medical College & Hospital Patiala in 1997, and earned his M.B.B.S. degree from the Govt. Medical College of Amritsar in 1994. Throughout his career, Dr. Kapoor has held esteemed positions in renowned healthcare institutions. He served as a Senior Consultant at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in New Delhi, India, and also worked as an Associate Consultant at Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi. Dr. Kapoor has received numerous awards and recognition for his exceptional contributions to the field of cardiology. In 2010, he delivered the MAMCOS ORATION in India, focusing on the subject of angioplasty. In 2022, Dr. Kapoor was honored as India's Most Promising Cardiologist by Dr. Bharti Pawar, the honorable Minister of Health. Furthermore, he was presented with the prestigious Punjab Ratan Award by Captain Amrinder Singh in 2018.
