Dr. Roopa Salwan

Dr. Roopa Salwan is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in the field of cardiology. She currently serves as the Senior Director of the Myocardial Infarction Program and Senior Consultant in Cardiology & Interventional Cardiology at Max Super Speciality Hospital in Saket, MSSH (East). Dr. Salwan's educational journey began with the completion of her MBBS degree from the University of Delhi in 1987. She further pursued her MD in Medicine, followed by a DM in Cardiology from the University of Delhi, in 1993 and 1996 respectively. Dr. Salwan leads the renowned Max MI Program, which has consistently delivered Primary PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) with Door to Balloon Time at international standards for the past 15 years. She is highly skilled in performing STEMI interventions and addressing cardiovascular disease in women. Additionally, Dr. Salwan excels in endovascular repair of aneurysms and aortic dissections and conducts complex coronary interventions, including vein graft and internal mammary artery interventions, as well as procedures such as Rotablator and IVL (Intravascular Lithotripsy).
