Dr. Belal Bin Asaf is an accomplished professional serving as the Associate Director at the Institute of Chest Surgery, specializing in Chest Onco Surgery and Lung Transplantation.Dr. Asaf has over 20 years of experience and has made a name for himself as a highly qualified and knowledgeable thoracic surgeon. Dr. Asaf's professional interests encompass various specialized areas, including Minimally Invasive (Key-Hole) Lung Surgery, Robotic Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Treatment of Myasthenia Gravis, and Lung Cancer and Thoracic Surgical Oncology. Dr. Asaf is a member of prestigious professional organizations like STS, EAST, IASLC, ASI, SELSI, and IASTC, focusing on advancements in his field. Dr. Asaf has made significant contributions to the medical literature through his publications, covering topics such as robotic lobectomy, video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery lobectomy, robotic thoracic surgery, and surgical outcomes for myasthenia gravis and thymoma.
